The Business bachelor’s degree programme (delivered in partnership with Plymouth Marjon University) provides students with a comprehensive education in various aspects of business management, including financial management, human resources, operations, and strategic planning. Throughout the course, students will develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge, which they will apply in a range of business settings, with a particular focus on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Students will also gain a strong understanding of ethical and sustainable business practices, enabling them to make informed and responsible decisions in their future roles. Upon completion of the programme, our graduates will be well-prepared to enter the workforce with the skills and knowledge required to excel in a range of business settings.
Through coursework and practical assignments, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that SMEs face in the current business environment. Our students will learn how to create effective business plans, manage financial resources, and develop strategies for growth and expansion. The degree is also accredited by the CMI, and students will gain the CMI’s Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership alongside the degree, at no extra cost and with no additional assessments required. - Three A-levels at grades CCC or above, or
- BTEC triple grades MMM or above, or
- Access 23-45 D/M with min 6D, or
- T level P (C+), or
- Any other level 3 qualifications from the UK which are comparable through Ofqual or through their relevant regulatory bodies, or
- Any non-UK level 3 qualifications comparable through ECCTIS at UK level 3
- GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4 or grade C or above, or
- Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English
- Applicants without the above will be subject to an internal test

Students are expected to fulfil all the admission requirements prescribed by PMU, and admissions are subject to final approval by PMU.
