Flexible Degree Entry at UKCBC

At UKCBC we offer flex entry for adult learners to all our bachelor’s degrees

So, what does flex entry mean? Our admissions team looks at each mature student application on a case-by-case basis and assesses if they are suitable for entry to a course, taking into account work experience alongside whichever past qualifications they might have. We ask prospective mature learners to provide an up-to-date CV and to complete a short admissions interview – our course advisor team can help you prep for this – we then assess the application and make a decision.

Why We Offer Flex Entry at UKCBC

We each develop our capacity for academic studying at different times. But, unfortunately, those who develop their passion for learning later in life often face professional disadvantage through lack of career options and slow movement up the career ladder due to not having a degree.

We believe that the education outcomes achieved during your teenage years should not define your professional life. That’s why we welcome applications from prospective mature learners, regardless of their grades at GCSE and A-level.

Thanks to our two+ decades of experience teaching adult learners, we understand how best to support those returning to education; this includes more one-to-one time with academic staff, excellent pastoral care, and a course schedule that allows mature learners to continue working while studying for their degrees. We also provide full student finance application support to mature learners. And thanks to our seasoned student finance team, we can help you get the maximum amount of financial support available for mature learners.
