Course Overview

Learn the skills you need to launch your own business venture in our Business Studies with Entrepreneurship bachelor’s degree, delivered in partnership with the University of West London. The four-year course teaches students the process of turning innovative ideas into a successful, real-world business. 

UKCBC offers this programme as part of a franchise partnership with the University of West London (UWL). Students are expected to fulfil all the admission requirements prescribed by UWL, and admissions are subject to final approval by UWL. Students are expected to adhere to the relevant rules and regulations of UWL, in addition to the regulations of UKCBC.

The Business Studies and Entrepreneurship bachelor’s degree has been developed with input from local and national businesses in both the public and private sectors. The resulting qualification will provide students with a thorough overview of the approaches needed to successfully start and run their own business.

During the Business Studies and Entrepreneurship degree, students will learn the techniques needed to creatively solve a wide variety of business problems, from accounting to managing SMEs. Study formats include a mix of task-based learning, group and managerial work, and experience sharing.

BA (Hons) Business with Entrepreneurship Entry Requirements

As a potential student of the BA (Hons) Business Studies and Entrepreneurship, you will be expected to have an interest in business and entrepreneurship, be able to demonstrate your motivation for the subject, and have one of the following academic qualifications to join:

  • A recognised level 3 qualification from the UK, or
  • Any level 3 international qualification (compared through Ecctis)

Mature students (over 21 years of age) that do not have level 3 qualifications will be expected to have an interest in business and entrepreneurship, be able to demonstrate their motivation for the subject, and complete:

  • An interview
  • An assessment test
  • An admission assessment form (RPEL)

All non-UK qualifications will be compared through Ecctis. Translation may be required if qualification is not in English and if not comparable through Ecctis.
