UKCBC offers this programme as part of a franchise partnership with the University of West London (UWL). Students are expected to fulfil all the admission requirements prescribed by UWL, and admissions are subject to final approval by UWL. Students are expected to adhere to the relevant rules and regulations of UWL, in addition to the regulations of UKCBC.

The Accounting and Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year) bachelor’s degree has been designed by qualified accountants who have experience in the big four accounting firms. Students will be learning the skills they need to compete in the high end of the job market. The optional modules also ensure students can direct their learning towards their chosen career specialisation.
The course has also been developed with input from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA); this means that students looking to gain professional accreditation will enjoy exemptions from some examinations in the ACCA chartered accountant qualification.
The Accounting and Finance bachelor’s degree at UKCBC also includes an integrated foundation year to ensure students are well prepared for the academic challenges of the course. There are two modules in the foundation year geared towards the individual needs of students; these modules will enable students to understand and address their academic shortcomings before the three-year programme begins.

BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year) Entry Requirements
As a potential student of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year), you will be expected to have an interest in accounting and finance, be able to demonstrate your motivation for the subject, and have any of the following academic qualifications in order to join:
- A recognised level 3 qualification from the UK, or
- Any level 3 international qualification (compared through Ecctis)
Mature students (over 21 years of age) that do not have level 3 qualifications will be expected to have an interest in accounting and finance, be able to demonstrate their motivation for the subject, and complete:
- An interview
- An assessment test
- An admission assessment form (RPEL)
All non-UK qualifications will be compared through Ecctis. Translation may be required if qualification is not in English and if not comparable through Ecctis.
