The BSc (Hons) Business Management course (with Foundation Year) provides a clear understanding of academic principles, research skills, and idea development aligned with Business Management in the Creative Industries. In year 0, students learn the practical writing, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning they need for advanced study while also integrating creative and visual presentation skills essential for undergraduate programmes.

Foundation Year Entry Available

The Foundation Year of the BSc (Hons) Business Management programme is designed to provide essential skills and knowledge for success in higher education and beyond. It introduces core business principles, enhancing students’ understanding of enterprise, accounting, and marketing. Through a mix of foundational modules and supportive tutorials, the Foundation Year builds students’ confidence, academic skills, and familiarity with higher education. This preparatory year ensures that all students, regardless of their previous academic background, are well-prepared to start the full BSc (Hons) Business degree with a strong foundation.

At UKCBC we accept a wide range of qualifications for entry onto our courses, whilst also considering the context in which they were achieved. For this course, we would usually require a GCSE Grade 4 or above in English in addition to any of the below;

  • Three A Levels at grade BCC or above
  • BTEC Extended Diploma at grade DMM
  • UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
  • T Level (pass or above)
  • Access to Higher Education Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate at grade 24 or above
  • Other/Mixed qualifications equivalent to 104 UCAS Tariff points

Foundation Year Entry

Non-standard entry is considered on a case-by-case basis, with relevant work experience being taken into account for applications.

UKCBC offers this programme as part of a franchise partnership with Ravensbourne University (RU). Students are expected to fulfil all the admission requirements prescribed by RU, and admissions are subject to final approval by RU. Students are expected to adhere to the relevant rules and regulations of RU, in addition to the regulations of UKCBC.
