The BSc (Hons) Business is delivered by UKCBC in partnership with Plymouth Marjon University (PMU). The programme provides an academic and applied study of core business disciplines, including financial management, human resources, operations and strategic planning.
The course has been accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), recognising alignment between the programme content and professional management standards.

The Foundation Year route is designed to prepare students for degree-level study. It provides an introduction to core business principles, alongside development of academic skills required for higher education.
Modules in the Foundation Year introduce key concepts in enterprise, accounting and marketing, supported by structured tutorials. The aim is to support students in building subject knowledge and study skills before progressing to the full BSc (Hons) Business degree.
Progression from the Foundation Year to Year 1 is subject to successful completion of the Foundation Year requirements.
Throughout the programme, students study a range of business subjects with particular attention to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The course includes both theoretical study and applied learning activities.
Students explore ethical and sustainable business practices, alongside financial management, marketing, organisational behaviour and enterprise development. The programme includes research methods and a final-year honours project.
Assessment methods may include coursework, presentations, projects and applied assignments, in line with the programme specification and awarding body requirements.
CMI Accreditation
The programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Subject to meeting the required criteria, students may be eligible to receive a CMI Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership alongside the degree.

Graduates may pursue employment in a range of business-related roles or continue their academic or professional development.

UKCBC delivers this programme under a franchise arrangement with Plymouth Marjon University (PMU). The degree is awarded by PMU.
