Delivery mode:

This course is delivered fully face to face, with teaching and learning taking place on campus. You will attend scheduled lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and practical sessions in person.

Contact hours/self-study:

You should expect to spend approximately 200 hours on your studies for this course.

48 hours of scheduled face-to-face teaching and contact time, including lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials.

152 hours of independent study, including reading, research, preparation, assignment work, and revision.

This balance is designed to provide structured teaching alongside opportunities for independent learning and the development of academic and professional skills.

Teaching Methods: You will experience a variety of teaching and learning methods throughout your course, designed to develop your knowledge, practical skills, critical thinking, and confidence.

• Lectures : Lectures introduce key concepts, theories, principles, and current developments within your subject area. They provide a foundation for further discussion, independent study and application of knowledge.

• Workshops : Workshops are interactive sessions where you will apply what you have learned through practical activities, problem-solving exercises, case studies, group work, and other structured tasks.

• Tutorials : Tutorials provide more focused support and guidance. These sessions may take place individually or in small groups and give you the opportunity to discuss your progress, clarify areas of difficulty, and receive feedback on your learning.

• Practical Learning : Where appropriate, you will develop your skills through practical activities, simulations, demonstrations, projects, and other hands-on learning experiences. These activities help you connect theoretical knowledge with real-world practice.

• Online and Blended Learning : Online learning activities may complement your face-to-face teaching. Through the University's virtual learning environment, you may access learning materials, recordings, activities, assessments, resources, and opportunities for discussion and collaboration. This combination of online and in-person learning supports flexible and independent study.
